- Connect the X-TOUCH and X AIR Mixer using a standard Ethernet LAN cable, or alternatively using 2 MIDI cables (when “Ifc Mode” is MIDI)
- Move the small slider switch on the X-AIR mixer to the “Ethernet” position and power the mixer up
Connection
Direct Ethernet Connection (no router involved) X-Air ethernet to X-Touch ethernet port.
- Hold down the ch 1 Select button while switching the X-TOUCH power on.
- Ch 1 display will show one of the operating modes-good idea to view them all to see your options!
- Use the ch 1 rotary encoder to select the mode “Xctl”
- Then use the ch 2 encoder to choose the interface “IFC”. Select “Network”
- Use the ch 3 encoder to specify the network mode “DHCP” or “slv ip”
- X-TOUCH can register on a network in two different DHCP modes:
- 1. DHCP = ON (default), automatically detects/assigns an IP address
- 2. DHCP = OFF, requires manual setup of “my IP” address like “slv ip”
- Enter the slave IP by turning the cn 3-7 encoders
- When the above settings are correct, press the ch 1 select button (led goes off), which saves the settings
- The LCD displays will turn black/gray for a few seconds. Then the ch1-ch3 scribble strips will indicate:
- * X-TOUCH IP address on the top lines
- * Mixer IP address on the lower lines
- If the second line does not show a valid Mixer IP address, press the CH08 rotary “Scan” for another mixer.
Wait for a little while, until the channel LCDs and fader positions are updated with the actual mixer settings. Now, your X-TOUCH control surface is connected with the mixer You can now access all the controls. The next time X-TOUCH is started, it will automatically attempt to connect to the mixer with the same IP address again. If it does not connect automatically, hit ch 8 encoder again to scan
Connection With A Router
- Connect any X AIR remote control application with your Mixer as usual, and open the Setup/network pages for reviewing/adjusting the LAN/WLAN settings On LAN/WLAN setup pages you may choose either DHCP for automatically receiving an IP address from the network router, or manually select a Static IP Address and Subnet Mask that is valid in your network. DHCP is recommended. X AIR Mixer(s) can be connected to the local network either using a standard Ethernet LAN cable, or alternatively using the internal WLAN module in Wi Client Mode.
- In case the mixer is registering on a wireless network, you will need to specify the exact SSID name of the Wi network and the corresponding Key. See the X AIR mixer documentation.
- Move the small slider switch on the X AIR Mixer to “Ethernet” position when using a wired connection, or slide it to “Wi Client” when registering on a wireless network infrastructure
- Connect your X-TOUCH to the network router/switch using a CAT5 Ethernet cable.
The X-Air needs to be connected PROPERLY to your router as well as your X-Touch. Your Mac/PC needs to connect to THAT network-then follow below.
- Hold down the ch 1 Select button while switching the X-TOUCH power on.
- Ch 1 scribble strip will show the operating modes-good idea to view them all.

- Then use the ch 2 encoder to choose the interface “IFC”. Select “Network”
- Use the ch 3 encoder to specify the network mode “DHCP” or “SLV IP”
For DHCP:
- X-TOUCH can register on a network in two different DHCP modes:
- 1. DHCP = ON (default), automatically detects/assigns an IP address
- 2. DHCP = OFF, requires manual setup of “my IP” address like below.
For “SLV IP”:
- Enter the slave IP by turning the cn 3-7 encoders

Civilization vi crack. If the second line does not show a valid Mixer IP address, press the CH08 rotary “Scan” for another mixer. Wait for a little while, until the channel LCDs and fader positions are updated with the actual mixer settings. Now, you are connected with the mixer The next time X-TOUCH is started, it will automatically attempt to connect to the mixer with the same IP address again. If it does not connect automatically or you change mixers, hit ch 8 encoder again to scan
